Project summary
This technology foresight project explored how emerging technologies could transform drug production, supply, consumption, prevention, treatment, and monitoring, and their implications for European drug policy. Combining horizon scanning, Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessment, Delphi surveys, technology workshops, and thematic deep dives, it identified emerging opportunities and challenges to strengthen the EU Drugs Agency’s anticipatory capacity and support evidence-informed preparedness for future drug-related threats.Project focus
