Project summary
This foresight project explored alternative futures for artificial intelligence and their implications for Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem. Combining interviews, a survey, expert workshops, scenario development, and sense-making activities, it examined AI adoption pathways, assessed their implications for research, innovation, and governance, and identified policy options to support the EU’s long-term AI strategy and research and innovation policy.Resources
